Wrapping up in a blanket coat is definitely the way to go during the colder months. It’s cozy, snuggly and the comfiest piece of outerwear you can find. That’s probably why I have been wearing my blanket coat non-stop the past couple of weeks. The poncho-jacket hybrid is cozy and chic, and makes bundling up for winter so much more bearable.

When styling it, keep in mind to avoid the “just rolled out of bed in my pyjamas” look and opt for wearing it over clothes which have down-to-earth ruggedness, but a bit of snap. Jeans, sneakers , boots and cozy sweaters are great options. You can also dress is up by layering it over a suit. The blanket is fairly overwhelming in its length and print, so tone down the largeness of the blanket by folding it over once and then belting it. I prefer it with no belt but experiment with what looks good with your outfit and see what works best.
