” Bored in da house, I’m in the house bored” pretty much sums up the past couple of months. Due to lockdown effects our lives have literally turned upside down and this new reality has set in. I’ve personally taken this unprecedented time to fully focus on myself. Everything I’ve been pushing back is finally being taken care of, from house projects to decluttering/ spring cleaning, organising, daily meditation, cooking etc… Even though I hate this pandemic I like to think there’s a silver lining in this dark cloud. We all have the time to unwind, to rest, to recharge.
What I’m already missing through all this is dressing up. Don’t get me wrong, lounging around in sweats and pj’s all day long is great but there are time when I wanna get ready and dress up. Yesterday was one of those days so I decided to do it even though I would be home. I did my hair / makeup, put on a dress and my new lilac lace up pumps….to go to the living room.
