You must be thinking I’m insane for even contemplating wearing anything leather in the height if summer. I probably am. But then again it depends which part of the world I’m in during summer. If we’re being real, wearing leather in countries such as Greece, Spain, Italy in the sweltering heat is nearly a suicide attempt but you’re in London (or somewhere where the temps aren’t as high) it’s a whole different story.
When done right, this slick, supple fabric can have you looking and feeling cool under the sun. There are many ways to incorporate it into your outfits without feeling like you’re going to overheat.
Most leather jackets are thicker than traditional jackets and outerwear made of other materials. However, the actual thickness varies depending on the type of leather jacket. You should choose jackets are thinner and lighter. Another option is to go for cropped cuts. Sleeveless leather jackets like the one I’m wearing are an excellent choice.
You can also go for perforated leather jackets that are edgy and cool looking. They also encourage air flow keeping you cool as a cucumber.
