If there’s one trend that doesn’t ( and won’t ) go away, it’s the Slip Dress. What started off as a bourdoir attire quickly became popular in the 90’s with the metallic version of it. Fast forward to today, slip dresses can be seen everywhere and with different styling combinations.
Slip dresses are sexy, minimal and very versatile. The fact that they are so simple is what makes them so easy to style:
Go with the minimal way.
Just slip into your dress, wear minimal accessories and a cute pair of heels.
Layer it.
Wear your dress with a simple monochromatic t-shirt underneath. This way you can tone down the sexiness if wearing it on its own is too much for you.
Make it cool and edgy.
Pair your dress with a motorcycle jacket and combat boots to add some edginess to it.
Alternatively, you can also layer your slip dress with a blazer, cardigan or shirt. Rock it with your favourite pair of sneakers for a cool street style look.
