Aesop Parsley Seed Antioxidant Hydrator Review

aesop-parsley-seed-antioxidant-hydrator-review

Aesop is a brand I've known for a while but hadn't had the chance to try until recently. Mainly because they don't stock it where I live and because I wanted to sample it first before going for the splurge. On my recent trip to Berlin, I was lucky to find an Aesop store right next to the apartment where I stayed so I took the opportunity to see the product up close and test it in store before buying it. This moisturizer is definitely on the expensive side. At around 54 euros ( starting in US at $67 ) this doesn' come cheap but in my opinion it was definitely worth every cent. Here's why:

-It's a light textured lotion that absorbs instantly leaving absolutely no greasy residue on your skin. If you are on the oily side like me, this is a major requirement when looking for moisturizers.

-It contains Antioxidants which help prevent and rejuvenate dull, tired looking skin.

-It smells fresh and leaves the skin soft and supple.

-Although light it's still very hydrating. If you have very dry skin then this might not be enough for you because of its light consistency.

-I love its little pump because it gives you more control on how much you need. It's hygienic, it's easy, and it keeps the ingredients better.

-Its main ingredients besides the antioxidants include white tea, panthenol and willowherb. Second ingredient is rosehip oil which I adore.

-I feel like it keeps my oily skin shine free for many hours.

Basically, the only negative thing I've found with this product is the steep price. But at 60ml, I guess it will last at least 3 months with everyday use. I've been using it for a month now and it's still pretty full. I will definitely be repurchasing after I've run out.

Have you tried Aesop products? Which would you recommend?
